My songs are meant to help you realize the route you’re taking yourself: Death. With every track, I’m sharing what Jesus saved me from to where I am right now. I’m starting with my sins, my truth, my past. Not every action or behavior we have is labeled as a sin, but some of them can lead us straight to it. Sharing my stories isn’t easy, but Jesus put it on my heart to step out in faith, and if it helps even one person, it’s worth it.

I want to reach the nonbelievers, so I sing in the present tense, so they recognize themselves in the situation that they are in at the moment. Just like when you’re sad, you could be listening to sad music that says: "I’m so sad, I’m so alone." because that’s how you feel, and you feel connected to the lyrics because that’s where your mental state is right now, so you recognize yourself.

If you recognize your own behavior while listening, I want you to know you’re not alone. My prayer is that, as you hear these stories, something in you rises up and says, “I don’t want to be in this place anymore.” Maybe you’ll even reach a point where you stop listening because you’ve grown past the version of yourself I’m singing about. And that’s the goal. I’m taking you back to the beginning so the transformation makes sense. Don’t feel ashamed.

Psalm 30:11-12

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my heart may sing praise to You and not be silent

Some subjects will be harder to hear than others, but you can face them once and for all. I’m using the gift Jesus gave me to help you confront what you’ve been avoiding. And there was a time when I was avoiding them, too.

One story at a time.

Here’s what Jesus saved me from.

And he can save you, too🤍
